Lamborghini Aventador Polizia For Italian Poilce
The Italian police force is renowned for using sports cars in their fleet. In 2008, they received the Gallardo LP560-4 Polizia as a donation from Lamborghini for the high-speed chases against any lawbreaker. And now with Lamborghini introducing the Aventador in the market, a police version of this car is conceptualised by the creative designers of Milanno Artworks and Carerra Design.
Although with its high price tag it is very unlikely that this super model wil be introduced in the police, the creative designers have done a good work rendering this concept car. The color scheme used is a blue and white paint scheme and the lettering is the same as the Police version of the Galardo.
If introduced, this car is sure to create problems for the crooks during any escape attempts by car. This super car is fitted with a 6.5 L V12 engine coupled with a Graziano ISR-7 automatic gearbox producing a power of 700 hp and 690 Nm of torque. The car sprints from 0-60 mph in mere 2.9 seconds and clocks a top speed of 217 mph.
The police version will fitted with a defribillator and a refrigerated container for quick organ transport. The roof mounted police beacon will surely degrade the aerodynamics of the car, and will have to be aerodynamically optimised as that of the Gallardo. The roof beacon also comprises of blue LEDs in the front, rear and side of the beacon’s aluminium shell. All the other LED lights are located in the car’s air intakes and the dashboard.
The Aventador has a price tag of $331,175 and therefore, unless and until Lamborghini S.P.A decides to donate it, this car will probably stay limited to the concept stage only.
