Toyota's New Low Cost Car at Delhi Auto Expo
Toyota Motor Corp is ready to unveil its new low cost car concept at the upcoming Delhi Auto Expo. The new concept car is code named as Entry Family Car (EFC) and will be sold in India, Russia and Latin America.
The model is expected to be priced below $10,000 or Rs. 4.65 lakh. Toyota will begin production of its new concept car in India as well as in Brazil Production in India will be begin by late 2010 and production in Brazil will not start before 2011.
Toyota’s new small concept car will be showcased at upcoming Delhi Auto Expo in January amongst other 13 cars being showcased at the show. Toyota will be displaying futuristic technologies in the form of concept and hybrid cars. "The Auto Expo in Delhi is the most ideal platform in India to highlight our new product range that will showcase Toyota's technological advancement and innovation," Toyota Kirloskar Motor deputy managing director-marketing Sandeep Singh said.
Toyota is expected to showcase both its hatchback and sedan model along with new Toyota Prius Hybrid. Toyota will be highlighting environmentally friendly technology and it will be its main theme at the Delhi Auto Expo.
