Creating a new benchmark where open top luxury sports cars are considered, Lamborghini launched the Aventador LP700-4 series. This launch comes close on the heels of the coupe which was launched earlier. Response seen with launch of the coupe version prompted Lamborghini to release the convertible variant for individuals. Performance, ease of use, style and driving experience are infused within the Lamborghini Aventador LP700-4.
Convertible roof is made using carbon fiber which is light in weight and can be stored in the front luggage compartment thereby transforming the car from a coupe to a convertible in a short span. Engine hood of the Roadster is unique and different from the hood of the coupe. This design provides for better cooling of the engine as also helps to drain off rainwater. Wind deflector and rear windshield can be adjusted by occupants to enjoy their drive comfortably. The Roadster's V12 engine allows it to accelerate from 0-100 in a blink of 3 seconds.
It has a top speed of 350 km/h. an ISR 7 speed gearbox combined with a push rod suspension provide one with a unique sports car experience. An instant stop and start system along with a cylinder deactivation system has also been provided within this car. The Lamborghini Avnetador LP700-4 can be bought at global dealerships for a price of 300,000 Euros, excluding taxes and miscellaneous charges.
