British luxury car brand, Bentley Motors shined at the Paris Motor Show 2012. At the Bentley pavilion you will find, Continental GT Convertible, Continental GT Speed Mulsanne Executive, Continental Flying Spur (their bestseller) and their latest, Continental GT3 Concept racer. Bentley is giving visitors to the Paris Show a great chance to look at their cars.
Continental GT3 Concept racer is based on the Bentley Continental GT Speed. The new Bentley race car will be given a host of added features to compete in the market. Though no definite details of engine are yet revealed it is estimated that the GT3 will have either a race tuned version of the GT Speed 616 bhp 6.0 liter W12 engine or a new 500 bhp 4.0 liter V8. Its eight speed automatic gearbox may be switched to a racing sequential transmission while a rear wheel drive may take the place of its four wheel drive system.
Bentley has revealed that the final racing version of the concept model here, will be developed from the company plant in Crewe while it will be heading to the race circuit by the end of 2013. Based on the Bentley Continental GT Speed, which is the fastest Bentley road car ever, GT3 racing version will have revised aerodynamics and include a carbon fiber front splitter, rear diffuser while it will possess a race spec rear wing to produce extra downforce.
