Maserati GranTurismo Sport

Maserati has recently presented to the public the GranTurismo Sport, which will replace the GranTurismo S, during the 2012 Geneva Motor Show.

According to the car manufacturer, the new Maserati GranTurismo Sport will hit the market as a 2013 model year, which means that the sports car will go on sale in 2012 as a replacement to the GranTurismo S in the United States. As you can see from the images posted below this article, the Maserati GranTurismo Sport is coming with a mild facelift, with restyled headlamps, restyled tail lamps, restyled bumper, a new exterior color, named the Blu Sofisticato, and a revised cabin which now gets new seats and a new steering wheel.

The Maserati GranTurismo S is powered by a 4.7 liter V8 engine, which is developing a total output of 453 horsepower and it has a peak torque of 384 lb-ft, and in Europe its future customers will be able to order the company’s new six-speed automatic transmission, but in the United States the ZF six-speed automatic is the only one which will be available. The Maserati GranTurismo S can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds, before reaching a top speed of 186 mph. More details on the new sports car once it will hit the market.
