The much anticipated Geneva Motor Show beginning from March 1, 2011 seems to be feast for vehicle enthusiasts. The event will be showcasing numerous car models including the Maserati GranCabrio Sport, Toyota’s EV iQ-based electric prototype and Subaru, a Japanese car manufacturer’s Impreza models.

In an attempt to plunge into a world debut, Subaru has already joined hands with the Toyota Motor Corporation. The company has now released its BOXER sports car architecture concept that is trademarked under Horizontally-Opposed Boxer engine technology.

Subaru comes up with an all-new platform and a refreshing design direction. Show-goers will be able to see the Subaru concept as well as the new Subaru Impreza concept in metal. Revealed under Subaru’s new international brand strategy of ‘Confidence in Motion’, the concept is designed for offering an innovative fabrication guide to future Impreza models.

The new Impreza concept is said to provide a sleek and lean, yet dynamic and elegant automobile. The spacious vehicle is equipped with a four-seater interior without compromising with the safety of its passengers. Built-in with a new generation 2.0-litre capability, the car touts of a Lineartronic (CVT) transmission.

This environment friendly vehicle based on a right-hand drive version is expected to hit the UK automobile terrain in the near future.
