Here is the first picture of the upcoming Porsche 911 GT2 RS snapped ahead of the car’s press launch scheduled for September. The picture was taken at special launch to VIPs and dealers this past weekend – and while you can sit there and just stare at it, the folks at Teamspeed.com have dug up some details to go along with this exclusive shot.

According to Teamspeed.com, only 300 units of the 911 GT2 RS will be made and each will weigh 90 kg (198 lbs) less than the 911 GT2. Power will be increased to 620-hp with 0-62 mph coming in 3.2 seconds, 0-124 mph in less than 10 seconds and 0-186 mph in less than 25 seconds. There is also a rumored Nurburgring lap time of around 7:22 but we’re not sure how official that information is.
