2010 Acura ZDX priced from $45,495

Acura and its parent company Honda may not be concerned with adding rear-wheel drive or V-8 engines to its lineup, but it is adding at least one new model to its small family, bringing its tally to six all up.

Acura has announced that its latest model, the all-new 2010 ZDX four-door coupe/crossover, will hit showrooms on December 15 with a starting price of $45,495, plus a destination and handling charge of $810.

The ZDX will be available in three trim packages, the base ZDX; ZDX with Technology Package; and the ZDX with Advance Package. In base trim, the vehicle comes very well equipped, with world's longest panoramic glass roof, concealed rear door handles, and a hand-stitched leather dash, center console and door panels all coming as standard.

The only powertrain is a 3.7-liter gasoline V-6 that generates 300 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque while achieving an EPA-rated city/highway fuel economy of 16/23 mpg. Standard on every ZDX is Acura's exclusive Super Handling All-Wheel Drive (SH-AWD) system that provides.

The Technology Package adds a navigation system with voice recognition, real-time traffic and weather updates, a touchscreen display and reversing camera, as well as premium audio system with a 15 GB hard-drive.

The Advance Package, meanwhile, adds a new blind spot information system, adaptive cruise control, active damper management, a sports steering wheel and heated and ventilated front seats with perforated leather trim.
