Along with the announcement of two new models for the 1 Series Coupe, BMW has also released prices for the BMW 740d, 730d and 730Ld models. The 740d is powered by a 306HP 3.0 liter twin-turbocharged diesel that can propel the 7 to 100 km/h in 6.3 seconds, up to a limited top speed of 249 km/h.

This model returns 40.9 miles to the gallon while releasing 181 grams of emissions per kilometer. Offered in the short wheelbase form only, it carries a £60,265 price tag and is on sale now. The 740d comes fitted with a glass sunroof, lane departure warning system, speed limit display and lumbar support for driver and front passenger.

The BMW 730d and its long wheelbase version, the 730Ld (additional 14cm of rear legroom) are both powered by the same 245HP 3.0 liter turbo diesel, that is also good for 540Nm of torque. Mated to a 6 speed automatic, the 730d returns 41.5 miles to the gallon, while the 730Ld delivers 40.9 miles to the gallon. In terms of CO2 emissions, the former releases 178 grams while the latter outputs 180 grams per kilometer. Both models are priced at £53,695 and £56,755 respectively and will go on sale in September.

BMW also revealed the all models in the 7 Series line-up are offered with the M Sport specification, that is comprised of a body kit, 19-inch M light alloy wheels with the option to upgrade to differently styled 20-inch alloy wheels, Dynamic Drive and High-gloss Shadowline exterior trim. Inside there are Sport seats, M Sport steering wheel, door sill finishers with M designation and Anthracite headlining. Pricing starts from £58,750 for the BMW 730d M Sport and tops out at a massive £96,590 for the BMW 760Li M Sport.
