Top-of-the-line model marks the seventh-generation

The luxury sports car maker Porsche would debut the new 911 Turbo model at the Frankfurt motor show in Germany in mid-September of this year.

The 911 Turbo uses a new flat-six 3.8-litre twin-turbo engine, delivering a maximum output of 500 horsepower. The company said that urbo would be the first entirely new engine introduced in the range's 35-year-history. The engine uses direct fuel injection and Porsche's exclusive turbochargers with variable turbine geometry.

The vehicle's carbon dioxide emissions are 18% lower than that of its predecessor. The car could accelerate to 100 kilometers per hour in 3.4 seconds with speed topping out at 312 kilometers per hour. The new 911 Turbo will go on sale in Germany on Nov. 21, reported the Korea Herald.
