A few days ago, we had reported that German carmaker known as Bayerische Motoren Werke AG would be launching its roadster in India in some time. They surely are selling a lot of cars here. Now the Press Trust of India reports that BMW India will be introducing two new models later this year.

At the SIAM annual convention, Peter Kronschnabl, who is the president of BMW India said, “We will launch a roadster Z4 in October with a 3.5 litre engine. The model is expected to be priced between Rs 50 and 60 lakh. Last year, we sold 2,908 units and this year we are confident of crossing 3,000 units on the back of new launches and robust demand for our products.”

The other car from the German company is the new petrol variant of the 7-Series, which will feature a six cylinder engine. There is no word about the exact release dates for these two cars but they are expected to be launched in India in the coming few weeks. BMW is looking to boost its sales and they want to cross the 3000 cars sales mark for the first time in India.
