Saleen, Inc. will be releasing two new high-performance Mustangs over the next year, with the first car to be rolled out onto the custom scene at Myrtle Beach, South Carolina later this month. Saleen, Inc. has had a tumultuous past with business changing hands rapidly; however, the new ownership vows that the upcoming cars will be consistent with past products.

Saleen Performance Vehicles CEO Michael Shields told AutoWeek that these cars are going to be next generation. Both cars will be using Saleen’s custom parts lines plus superchargers that were developed by the MJ Acquisitions automotive and engineering group, which purchased part of the parts business from Saleen last February. The second car won’t come along until next spring at the earliest. More details will be revealed!
