New Spectacular ‘Scorpion’: A Energy Efficient Cars
Nevada – If you have been waiting for eco-friendly cars to become flashy and sporty, your wait is over. The Scorpion developed by startup company Ronn Motor Company has been unveiled at the SEMA trade show in Las Vegas.
This car is more then just a mid-life crisis’s wet dream. It is an economically - and environmentally - friendly 40 mpg roadster, with a 450 horsepower engine, and a sleek design that rivals any of the past sports cars that have so dominated the market over the years. Not only that, but it is hydrogen-burning, making it an even more innovative creation.
“We want to build cool cars, just more responsibly,” Ronn Maxwell, the company president, said in an interview.
While this extremely expensive piece of auto heaven isn’t quite made for the average driver, the fact that it has implemented such a powerful engine that uses a hydrogen delivery system the company calls H2GO, without a dangerous compression system, is a huge step in environmentally conscious vehicles. hydrogen delivery system the company calls H2GO. Unlike cars that use hydrogen fuel cells to drive electric motors, the Scorpion uses electrolysis to convert water into gaseous hydrogen. The hydrogen is mixed with 91-octane gasoline to improve the fuel economy and reduce the emissions of the car’s 3.5-liter internal combustion engine.
Even if you do have a spare $150,000 lying around for the 200 that will be built, to prove the technology works the company will begin selling the H2GO system, which they expect can be adapted to any car for $1,000 early next year.
