The Geneva Motor Show is still about a month away, but already some photos of the new Mini Cooper Cabrio John Cooper Works (JCW) have leaked, revealing the hot little drop-top's latest iteration. Based around the same framework as the new Mark II Mini Cooper Cabrio, the JCW variant adds a healthy serving of style and speed.

At 211hp (157kW) the JCW Cabrio is on par with the other JCW models and almost 40hp (30kW) up on the Mini Cooper S, which rates 172hp (128kW). The power comes courtesy of a twin-scroll turbocharger and a 1.6L four-cylinder engine. Torque maxes out at 192lb-ft (260Nm) and is available from 1,850rpm to 5,500rpm. Top speed checks in at 146mph (235km/h).

The interior of the 2010 Mini Cabrio JCW Like its hardtop sibling the JCW Cabrio features an aggressively styled front end, three-spoke leather sports steering wheel, anthracite roof color, and piano-black interior elements. JCW badging, special pedals and a sharper steering response are also part of the standard JCW package.

Special 17in alloy wheels and a tuned suspension help improve on the already stellar Mini handling, while the computer gets a work-over with more performance-oriented cornering brake control and stability control for faster laps and more fun on the street.

Look for full details and information on the 2010 Mini Cooper Cabrio JCW once the car makes its debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March.
